"I got my insatiable thirst for music, from my father. As a Dj he opened and operated Sierra Afrique, the first nightclub that catered to the African diaspora in Detroit. As a Dual citizen of Sierra Leone I was brought up in bi-cultural house hold fusing the traditional and the contemporary. As a child I heard all varieties of music and began dancing to them too. my parents say I started dancing before I could walk.  I believe it was this experience That shaped my love for culture which I've have carried with me through life."  - Ajara Alghali
